Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. The leaves are turning color and slowly falling to the ground. Pumpkins are brightening up every doorstep. Boots and scarves are keeping us warm while we cheer on our favorite football teams.
This fall has also been much more stressful than those of the past. I am graduating in less than two months and my plate is more than full. I am planning UT’s Homecoming, working on two different campaigns and working part-time.
With all of this going on I almost forgot to stop and enjoy my favorite season. That is until a Mashable post caught my eye.
After clicking on the link and sorting through all the beautiful pictures, the reason why I love this season came welling up inside me. It is that warm feeling I get when I see the majestic shades of orange, red and yellow in the trees. It is the comfort of knowing some of my favorite things are around the corner.
- My Birthday
- Carving Pumpkins
- Decorating the house
I think this is a testament to the power of pictures. With the help of Mashable I remembered to stop and enjoy the season.
