Just when I think Starbucks couldn’t get more innovative, they surprise me once again. Starbucks has a new program on Twitter. It is called @tweetacoffee
I could not be more excited about this new development, I followed them on Twitter instantly. I went to add connect my Starbucks and Twitter accounts together and I was stopped in my tracks.
Connecting the two are easy, but you have to give them permission to get on your Twitter account (i.e. seeing your followers, tweeting for you). You also have to add a credit card.
I was hoping to hook up my new Gold Card, but there is no option for it. I want to love this idea, but I just can’t commit.
Once I can control my own Twitter account and which method of payment I want to use, I think I will love @tweetacoffee. For the time being I don’ think I can do it, but if anyone wants to sway my decision, feel to tweet me a coffee. @ashtonrummage. I promise i won’t be mad at you..haha 😉
